If you haven’t done so, please make plans to attend PowerClean 2019 in Charleston, SC, from October 17–20. The Cleaning Equipment Trade Association (CETA) and Power Washers of North America (PWNA) plan to co-locate for the second consecutive year. There are multiple opportunities for interaction between exhibitors and the customers they want to reach. Ideas are shared that can galvanize companies into taking additional steps to improve their business and stimulate economic growth. Relationships are strengthened, and new ties are forged. Turn to page 18 and read Diane Calabrese’s article “Exhibitors See Opportunity for Showing and Listening,” for even more benefits to attending PowerClean 2019 in October.
Don’t miss the Q & A with Bryson Sharp of Northern Tool & Equipment, who is the newest CETA director. It can be found on page 26. He shares what excites him about the pressure washing industry, why he decided to join the CETA board, and what he enjoys about his work. It’s good to familiarize one’s self and build relationships with the men and women on the CETA Board of Directors who seek to help you succeed in your work.
“Staying Cool and Safe” on page 14 by Diane Calabrese helps one prepare to work safely in the summer heat and recognize the warning signs of different heat-related illness.
On page 22, Pete Gustin with Valley Industries shares the article, “Softwash—Metering vs. Batching.” He explains the difference between the two and why these differences matter.
Have a great summer, and we hope to see you in Charleston in October.
