The PWNA has announced the list of certification and non-certification classes for the 2016 National Convention. Non-certification classes (except the kitchen exhaust cleaning bootcamp) are available for all convention registrants. Certifications have additional fees. All registrants will receive a $99 credit toward the certification class of choice. All participants can take certification classes, but only PWNA members can become PWNA-certified.
New this year, the PWNA is adding a commercial cleaning certification class. “While commercial cleaning involves elements of some of the other certification classes, it also has some unique aspects that will be covered in the new class,” explains board member and education chair James Pasternak. Therefore, obtaining commercial certification requires completing the new commercial class as well as obtaining flatwork and environmental certifications.
