The Show Guide, Part II
October is a great month! For baseball fans, like me, it starts off with the exciting Wild Card playoff games and ends with the best-of-seven-games World Series spread out over the entire month of October. In addition, the fall foliage is beautiful, and the cooler temperatures are welcome. On a professional level, October is the month for two important tradeshows: Power Washers of North America (PWNA) and the WaterJet Technology Association and Industrial & Municipal Cleaning Association (WJTA-IMCA).
PWNA will host their convention October 12–14 in Franklin, TN. There will be multiple opportunities to pursue certifications in wood restoration, house washing, environmental, flatwork, roof cleaning, fleet washing, and commercial buildings. In addition, there will be opportunities for questions and answers, a panel discussion on “Taking Your Business into the Millions,” and outside live demonstrations.
WJTA-IMCA’s tradeshow will be located in New Orleans, LA, October 25–27. The Basics and Beyond Short Course will take place on Wednesday, October 25. The following courses will be offered: Waterjet Technology: Past, Present, and Future; Applications of Waterjet Technology; Equipment Considerations; Safety; UHP & Abrasive Cutting Applications; Cleaning Applications; Field Cutting Applications; Surface Preparation; Sewer Cleaning; Robotics and Automation. There will also be outside demos, opportunities to listen to people present their research and technical papers, and a plethora of service providers on the tradeshow floor.
Cleaner Times will be at both of these conventions, and we hope to see you there!
