A strong foundation and a clear mission—that sums up the Cleaning Equipment Trade Association (CETA) as 2025 begins.
What can we expect in the workings of CETA over the next 12 months?
“My plans are to build awareness and enhance our already great benefits,” says Karl Loeffelholz, CETA president and the distributor division manager at Mi-T-M Corp. in Peosta, IA. “I want to bring more awareness to the industry on what CETA actually does behind the scenes to keep everyone in business.”
The “awareness” dimension could not be more important. Loeffelholz explains that the many accomplishments of CETA, which enrich everyone in the industry, merit higher visibility.
It’s not about boasting about what’s been done. It’s about documenting all that’s been achieved. There’s nothing like a profile of success—known to members and prospective members—to encourage more of the same.
CETA’s profile speaks to its success. For example, the association incorporates standing committees that focus on technical issues, regulations, and education. The committees ensure CETA keeps pace with industry, government, and societal changes.
CETA celebrates 35 years in 2025. The anniversary means PowerClean® 2025 will take on a bit of a special glow. Plan to attend September 25–28 in Reno, NV, at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
Now, let’s turn to a list of the plans Loeffelholz has for supporting CETA members and growing the association. Think of the plans as buildouts on the robust structure in place.
